Ben will be a notable absentee when England take on Sri Lanka in the opening Test tomorrow.
After leading England to a 3-0 series win over the West Indies, Ben made his return to The Hundred with the Northern Superchargers.
Batting against Manchester Originals, Ben pulled up sharply while taking a single.
The injury, later confirmed as a torn left hamstring, has brought to a premature close Ben's 2024 season in England.
Ben will be looking to make his England return during the tour of Pakistan. This will be a fitness race against time given the series starts early in October.
