A broken finger has ruled Ben out of playing any further part in the 2021 IPL. Rajasthan Royals reported Ben broke his finger during their 4 run defeat by the Punjab Kings.
Speaking to the Daily Mirror Ben revealed he damaged his left index finger while taking the catch to dismiss the Kings Chris Gayle.
Ben now awaits the results of a second X-Ray before medics can determine the best course of treatment.
The Royals have stated that Ben will stay on in India to support his team mates.
England will face New Zealand in June, it is not yet known if Ben's injury will impact on his involvement in the two Test series..
